Celebrating Women Authors: Raspberry Press Highlights for International Women’s Day 2026

Raspberry Press was founded by a woman author, Cheryl Fountain, to empower and amplify the voices of other authors, and she sure has succeeded. Thanks to Cheryl, and the work of other authors who have chosen to publish with Raspberry Press, we’ve found ourselves in the fortunate position to be celebrating a long list of woman authors this year in honour of Women’s International National Women’s Day (March 8), and Women's History Month (October in Canada; and in March for the UK, USA, and Australia).

We are excited for the opportunity to introduce these wonderful women to you. We will be sharing the stories and voices of five authors today and we would be honoured to have you read and celebrate along with us.

Meet Some of Our Women Authors

First, we have Anita Adams - the author of Whispers of the Soul. Her book was written for those seeking more joy, fulfillment, and well-being in their lives. Anita believes that each of us carries an inner wisdom — a quiet voice that gently guides us toward what is true, life-giving, and aligned. Choosing to become an author was her own act of trust — a decision to follow that deeper voice, even when it asked her to step into the unknown.

Through Whispers of the Soul, Anita invites readers to pause, listen, and reconnect with their inner guidance. Her writing reminds us that clarity is not something we have to chase — it is something we already carry within us.

In a world full of noise, Anita’s work encourages stillness. In seasons of uncertainty, she points us back to trust. In moments of doubt, she reminds us: your soul already knows the way. We are honoured to celebrate Anita and the wisdom she shares through her words!

The next author we’ll be sharing with you is Minal Yaghi. Minal recently celebrated the first anniversary of A Path to Ignite the Light Within on International Women’s Day.

A year ago, Minal courageously shared her voice, her wisdom, and her lived experience with the world. What began as a calling from within became a guiding light for so many readers seeking healing, clarity, and empowerment.

As a Reiki teacher, Akashic reader, meditation facilitator, and sound and colour therapist, Minal brings depth, integrity, and compassion to everything she creates. Her book is a reflection of who she is — grounded, intuitive, nurturing, and deeply committed to helping others reconnect with their true essence.

A Path to Ignite the Light Within is more than a book - it is a transformative guide. It is an invitation to remember that your inner wisdom already knows the way. Through heartfelt stories and practical tools, Minal gently reminds us that self-love, healing, and awakening are not distant destinations — they are available to us now.

Our third author to introduce to you is Cheryl Fountain! Cheryl is not only an author but also a publisher—a woman who writes stories, and helps bring the stories of others into the world.

As an established children’s author, poet, and nonfiction writer, Cheryl uses her voice to inspire courage, creativity, emotional awareness, and connection. Her books invite readers—both young and old—to explore the light in the dark, confidence in uncertainty, and the beauty of self-expression.

Cheryl’s work doesn’t stop with her own pages: with Raspberry Press, Cheryl walks alongside emerging and established authors to help turn their book dreams into reality. From concept to completion, she supports writers with strategy, structure, design, and encouragement—ensuring their stories are not just written, but beautifully brought to life.

Next up, we have Luna Wren, the author of Little Light Shine So Bright — a story that gently reminds readers of the light they carry within themselves. Luna creates stories that offer calm, connection, and emotional safety — especially in a world that can feel loud and overwhelming.

Through her work, she invites readers to slow down, notice, breathe and to remember that they are always enough. Writing has been Luna’s way of following curiosity, healing, and purpose — and her books reflect that tender strength. Little Light Shine So Bright is more than a children’s story; it is an invitation to feel seen, supported, and brave enough to shine exactly as you are. We are proud to celebrate Luna and the quiet, powerful light she brings to the world through her words.

Last, but certainly not least, we have author Jenni Why. We are celebrating Jenni Why, writing Beyond The Edge: Mastering the Art of Fearless Living — a book born from courage, truth, and the quiet whisper from deep inside. Jenni’s first published book began as an inner nudge — a knowing that fear had been standing between her and the self-love she deserved. After years of feeling like she didn’t belong and carrying shame that was never hers to hold, she made a brave choice: to be seen, to speak, and to step beyond the edge.

Beyond The Edge is not written for sympathy — it is written as a light for others navigating their own dark seasons. Through vulnerability and strength, Jenni reminds us that fear does not get the final word.

By stepping outside her comfort zone, she found her voice, her confidence, and the courage to feel the fear and move forward anyway. Her story is a testament to what happens when a woman chooses to reclaim her light. We are honoured to celebrate Jenni and the bold heart behind her words.

It’s easy to see that we have so much to celebrate this season at Raspberry Press. We are thankful and grateful to these women authors and independent writers for choosing us to be a part of their stories.

You may have noticed a theme among the authors and their works, and of course we are so proud to see the stories and traits that we attract. At Raspberry Press we want to make sure everyone knows that we support authors across all genres, themes, and experience levels.

If you’re a an author, or a writer starting out, and are needing assistance— whether that be that editing, proofreading, book layout and design, or guided support through the publishing process—we have you covered.
